Unánime apoyo para que se ensanche la avenida Libertad
Frentistas y comerciantes expresaron, por unanimidad, su acuerdo con la obra, con vistas al ingreso y egreso de ómnibus a la nueva estación terminal.

La semana anterior, el propio intendente Gustavo Pulti anunció el ensanche de la avenida Libertad, como una obra "imprescindible"-así lo calificó-, para favorecer el ingreso y egreso de ómnibus a la nueva estación terminal ferroautomotora, ubicada en la zona de 9 de Julio y San Juan.
Ahora, LA CAPITAL realizó un sondeo de opinión entre frentistas y comerciantes de esa arteria y de las calles adyacentes, comprobando que de forma unánime apoyan la iniciativa.
En general, el planteo fue que "se trata de una obra reclamada por años, que en ninguna administración municipal anterior se llegó a concretar". Pero también, hicieron una observación: "el ensanche tendría que ser acompañado de otras mejoras".
Entre las ideas sobre la fisonomía que tendría que tener esta avenida, hubo quienes coincidieron en que debería hacerse algo similar a la avenida Juan B. Justo con un cantero con plantas para separar ambas manos.
La posterior consulta a los titulares de los entes de Obras Públicas y Servicios Urbanos (Enosur), Manuel Regidor, y de Vialidad Municipal (Emvial), José María Conte, confirmó que, además de ampliar el ancho de la avenida, entre Champagnat y la costa, se realizarán obras de señalización y semaforización, entre otras, como también se fijarán paradas de taxis y se modificarán los recorridos de los colectivos por esa zona.
Lo concreto y lo futuro
En una nota publicada recientemente, el jefe comunal dio algunas precisiones al respecto:
* En este momento, se realiza el diseño para la licitación de la obra que tendrá un costo estimado de 8 millones y medio de pesos.
* Para asegurar su financiación, hay gestiones ante el Ministerio de Infraestructura de la Provincia.
* Los trabajos que comenzarían en 2010, se ejecutarían en dos etapas. La primera abarcaría 16 cuadras, desde Champagnat a Italia y la segunda, el resto hasta la costa.
Obras complementarias
Por su parte, el titular del Enosur, Regidor, señaló ante una pregunta que "además del ensanche se realizarán obras complementarias". Y enunció en primer lugar que "una de ellas, será la semaforización de los accesos principales de ingreso y egreso de ómnibus de larga distancia, que serán de dos o tres posiciones, según la arteria de que se trate".
Los principales accesos se ubicarán en la avenid Libertad, la calle 9 de Julio y la ruta 11, en el sector costero.
Después, Regidor, agregó que "otra obra complementaria será la señalización horizontal y vertical; como también se localizarán más paradas de taxis y se modificarán los recorridos de los colectivos que circulen por allí, teniendo en cuenta que hacia ese lugar se desplazarán las líneas que actualmente circulan por la vieja estación de ómnibus".
Uno de los objetivos de este nuevo esquema de recorridos y circulación, subrayó más adelante el funcionario "es evitar el ingreso por San Juan, ya que se trata de una arteria muy estrecha y que ya hoy presenta un gran tránsito vehicular y por allí se desplaza muchísima gente".
Otra de las características que mantendrá la avenida y, por expresa recomendación del intendente Pulti, es su clásica arboleda de dos hileras. Quizá el ensanche obligue a reducir su forestación. Pero los ejemplares que se retiren no serán sacrificados, sino que serían reubicados en paseos públicos de la ciudad.

Que mal que les funciona la calculadora a nuestros políticos. Según las palabras del Ingeniero Antoniucci, el traslado de un árbol tiene un costo aproximado de 10 mil pesos. Si contamos que Libertad tiene unos 600 árboles, ahi ya tenemos 6 millones de pesos de costo. ¿Y con 8 millones quieren hacer toda la obra? Es mas que evidente que lo primero que van a comprar es la motosierra.

Como siempre en nuestra ciudad a la nadie le interesa la belleza de sus arboles y edificios històricos, todo se tira abajo para que entre la plata fresca. Que gente de ignorante y que solamente le importa el dinero. No dejen que nos mientan, esos arboles tan grandes no se pueden transplantar y si se puede es super costoso y muy riesgozo que sobrevivan. No lo van a hacer!!!! Sigan tirando arboles y nos vamos a contaminar como Buenos Aires.

COINCIDP TOTALEMNTE, ME PARECE UNA PESIMA NOTICIA, Y NO VEO DONDE ESTA LA UNANIMIDAD A FAVOR DEL PROYECTO? CREO Q LA ENCUESTA SE HIZO ENTRE POLITICOS. LA ZONA SE CARACTERIZA POR SER UNA AVENIDA JARDIN, Y ES LO Q LA DITINGUE DE TODAS LAS DEMAS, HACER UNA DIVISION COMO SE HIZO EN JUAN B JUSTO, ES UNA OBRA BARATA Q DEJA MUCHO Q DESEAR. HABRIA QUE CONCENTRARNOS TODOS LOS DE ESA ZONA EN CONTRA DE ESTE PROYECTO, APARTE NO TIENE SENTIDO QUE SE ENSANCHE HASTA LA COSTA, ES UNA VEGUENZA! PARA ESTAS PAVADAS SI HAY PLATA?

Concuerdo totalmente con el comentario de JUAN. Esto, de cumplirse, será el golpe de gracia a lo que era una patrimonio orgullo de todos los marplatenses: nuestro arbolado. Tras la decadencia que sufre en todo el casco urbano por la falta de controles ante extracciones sin autorización y la inobservancia, en la mayoría de los casos, de la ordenanza que obliga a reemplazar cada ejemplar extraído por dos, ahora le sumamos la pérdida de uno de los atributos que engalana a la Avenida Libertad. Esa frondosa arboleda que nos hace pensar que estamos en alguna avenida de Europa o de otros sitios del mundo donde la urbanización se caracteriza por el buen gusto y la especial atención en el medio ambiente. ¿Por qué no estudiaron aquella alternativa que se había barajado al decidirse el traslado de la Terminal? Que se habilitaría un acceso asfaltado paralelo a las vías del ferrocarril y los ómnibus lo utilizarían para ingresar y egresar en forma exclusiva y directa desde la avenida Champagnat. Esta era una solución mucho más eficaz, menos invasiva para el medio ambiente y por otro lado, un remedio para las zonas aledañas a las vías que suelen ser una boca de lobo y refugio de malvivientes.
